Alappuzha (or Alleppey) is a city on the Laccadive Sea in the southern Indian state of Kerala. It’s best known for houseboat cruises along the rustic Kerala backwaters, a network of tranquil canals and lagoons. Alappuzha Beach is the site of the 19th-century Alappuzha Lighthouse. The city’s Mullakkal Temple features a traditional design. Punnamada Lake’s snake boat races are a well-known annual event.

Kumarakom is a village on Vembanad Lake in the backwaters of Kerala, southern India. It’s laced with canals, where houseboats ply the waters. Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is home to many species including cuckoos and Siberian storks. Nearby, the Bay Island Driftwood Museum displays wooden sculptures. In the lake, Pathiramanal Island is a haven for rare migratory birds. Ancient Thazhathangady Mosque is east of Kumarakom.

Munnar is a town in the Western Ghats mountain range in India’s Kerala state. A hill station and former resort for the British Raj elite, it’s surrounded by rolling hills dotted with tea plantations established in the late 19th century. Eravikulam National Park, a habitat for the endangered mountain goat Nilgiri tahr, is home to the Lakkam Waterfalls, hiking trails and 2,695m-tall Anamudi Peak.

Day 1

Cochin to Munnar

Pick up from Cochin Airport/Railway/Bus station and proceed to the famous hill station, Munnar (140Km; 4hrs Drive). Up on arrival check in to the hotel and refresh yourself. Then proceed to Sightseeing. Visit Rajamalai, the natural habitat of Nilgiri Tahr. The Rajamalai is 2695 Mts above from the sea level. (Visiting Time: 07.00 to 18.00Hrs). Then back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Munnar

Day 2


After breakfast (0900Hrs) proceed to full day sightseeing at Munnar. Major attractions; 1. Visit Mattupetty Dam which is situated at a height of 1700Mts 2. Eco-point and Kundala lake. 3. Tea Gardens, Top stations 4. Pothamedu Veiw Point 5. Chinnakkanal Water falls 6. Photo point Then back to the hotel and overnight at Munnar

Day 3


After breakfast, proceed to Thekkady (110 Kms / 3.30Hrs). On arrival check in to the Hotel and proceed to visit the spice plantations and boating in Periyar Lake. Overnight at Thekkady.

Day 4


After breakfast, proceed to Kumarakom. Check into the House Boat. Enjoy the virgin beauty of back waters, Vembanadu Lake & Kumarakom. Experience, the hospitality of Kerala household and relish in the delicacies of Kerala cuisines. Overnight stay in the House Boat

Day 5

Kumarakom to Cochin

After breakfast check out from House boat and proceed to Cochin. If time permits, Sightseeing at old part of Cochin, Fort Cochin and Mattancherry. Visit the famous Chinese fishing nets which are distinctly unique to Cochin and watch its operations, then visit the famous St. Francis church where Vascoda Gama buried. After that visit Mattancherry palace (Dutch Palace), where you can find a fine collection of Mural paintings depicting the scenes of Hindu epics Ramayana & Mahabharata. Then you can walk through the Jewish street and visit the famous Jewish Synagogue which is built in 1568 and magnificently decorated by Chinese tiles and Belgian chandeliers. Transfer to Ernakulam Airport/ Railway station for departure with everlasting beautiful memories of the trip.
